Since I haven't really read many books this year which were released in 2014 I will be making a list only out of the books I read this year.

10. Seamus from Primordial Dust by Sarah Daltry

Seamus was such a sweetheart! I loved him! Despite his lineage he was different and so supportive of Alondra. You can read my review of the book here.

9. Daemon from Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Daemon is hot! And despite how douchy he is at most times, his sweet moments were just so sweet! Read my fangirling full review of the book here.

8. Beau from The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines

Even though I didn't like the book much, I loved Beau! He was a bad boy but of the best kind and I and my friend (with whom I read this book) loved Beau!

7. Cinder from Cinder & Ella by Kelly Oram

Cinder a.k.a. Brian Oliver is the best boyfriend ever! Other than being a huge celebrity he is the sweetest person ever!! Read my review of Cinder & Ella here.

6. Alex from Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles

Alex was so different from the usual bad boys. Most of the time I wanted to give him a huge hug! My review.

5. Augustus from The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

Oh come on! Who wouldn't want Augustus Waters as their boyfriend? Handsome, witty and so adorable!

4. Mr. Darcy from Pride & Prejudice Manga by Stacy King & Po Tse

I know I might be cheating by including a manga in this list but this list would be incomplete without the brooding and smoldering Mr. Darcy. You can read my review of the manga here.

3. Dash from Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by David Levithan & Rachel Cohn

I reread Dash & Lily this year and fell in love with them and their story all over again. Dash is funny and witty and most importantly he loves to read! Who wouldn't want a boyfriend who loves to read? ;) Read my review here.

2. Kyle from V is for Virgin by Kelly Oram

Kyle is one of the best book boyfriends of all time! He is a bad boy rockstar and oh so hot! I did a post on him a while ago so go here if you want to read more about our rockstar. And also check out my reviews of V is for Virgin and A is for Abstinence.

1. Kai from The Blooming Goddess Trilogy by Tellulah Darling

Oh my Kai! :D Other than being the son of Hades, God of the Underworld, Kai happens to be extremely hot, a great kisser, and a very passionate lover. He can be the sweetest person ever when he wants to be and it is very hard not to fall for him. He is perfect, I love him and he happens to be my best book boyfriend this year! 10. Boy Meets Girl by Meg Cabot

This was such a funny, quick and light read. Perfect to relax with! You can read my review here.

9. Hushed by Kelley York

This book was dark and deep and so different from anything else I've read. It is one of those books you can't stop thinking about even after you have finished it. An amazing read!

8. Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles

7. Fallout by Ellen Hopkins

I loved the poetry style writing of this book. It was a serious, emotional read and extremely well-written.

6. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

I fell in love with Hazel and Augustus and this book made me cry so much! But the experience was worth it!

5. Cinder & Ella by Kelly Oram

I loved this one! It made me laugh and cry and I just loved it! Check out my review here. 

4. The Contract by Zeenat Mahal

This one is more of an adult book than YA but I loved it just the same. Awesome story and great characters! And it's set where I live! :D You can read my review here.

3. Dangerous Boys by Abigail Haas

This was such a unique and dark book! A great YA contemporary thriller!

2. V is for Virgin & A is for Abstinence by Kelly Oram

These books have been two of my best reads this year! They were so much fun to read! I loved Val and Kyle! Read my reviews: V is for Virgin, A is for Abstinence.

1. Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas

Hands down one of my all-time favorite books! I loved this one! It is so intriguing and suspenseful and amazingly written!

10. Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles

I read this along with a friend and both of us enjoyed this a lot! We loved Brittany & Alex and the story was so sad and beautiful! You can read my full review here.

9. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

I finally read this book after hearing so much about it. I did like it a lot but not as much as others did. I have a friend who is so head over heels in love with John Green's writing that she is unable to read any other author and keeps rereading his books. I, on the other hand, did not like his writing much. It is good but I've read better. I loved the story and characters though!

8. The Contract by Zeenat Mahal

This book is a recent one I read and I loved it a lot! It has an amazing story, great writing and characters I loved! Read my review here.

7. Fallout by Ellen Hopkins

I LOVED the poetry style writing of this book! Plus this book was so sad and amazing! I haven't read the previous two books and I probably won't either but I did enjoy and love this one.

6. Cinder & Ella by Kelly Oram

5. Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I know it took me a long long time to read this but I loved it! Sadly I did not enjoy the second book so much and probably won't be continuing this series. I did love this book though, read my review here.

4. Dangerous Boys by Abigail Haas

Abigail Haas is so amazing, she writes the best YA thrillers! I loved Dangerous Boys! It was creepy and intriguing and so gripping!

3. V is for Virgin and A is for Abstinence for Kelly Oram

As I said, Kelly is an amazing writer and I loved Valerie's story! Kyle is definitely one of my all-time favorite book boyfriends and V is for Virgin (my review) and A is for Abstinence (my review) are two of my all-time favorite books!

2. The Blooming Goddess Trilogy by Tellulah Darling

One of the best series/trilogies I have ever read! I don't usually like series but I loved this one! I still miss this world and these characters. You can read my reviews here: My Ex From Hell, My Date From Hell, My Life From Hell.

1. Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas

This book is everything I want in a thriller and then some. As I wrote before, Abigail Haas writes amazing thrillers and Dangerous Girls is one of those books you can't get out of your head. I kept thinking about it for a few days after I finished it. Even now I sometimes find my mind wandering to this book. Amazing, simply spectacular!

Hey everyone! I’m excited to be here today to tell you a little about my new book. Cinder & Ella is a modern spin on the classic fairy tale Cinderella. I love Cinderella. It’s always been my favorite fairy tale, and every since I started writing I knew I’d eventually write my own version of it.

I am what you might call a Cinderella junkie. I will read or watch every version of Cinderella I come across. Doesn't matter if I've heard of it or not. It doesn't matter what age it’s geared at. If it’s Cinderella, I have to read/watch it. I’m compulsive about it even.  So, since there are so many different adaptations, I thought it might be fun to list my top ten favorites for you. I’m going to combine both books and movies on this list since I love reading and watching the different versions equally.

My Top 10 Favorite Cinderella Adaptations… Starting with number 10!

10. Elle: A Modern Cinderella Tale (movie)
First of all I am a sucker for all cheesy teenie-bopper movies, but add in music and you’ve struck gold with me. (High School Musical and Lemonade Mouth anyone?) Also, Sterling Knight is a total cutie!

9. Ella Enchanted
The book or the movie, take your pick. I love both!

8. The Ugly Stepsister Strikes Back by Sariah Wilson (YA novel)
This is a cute, clean, fun adaptation told from the viewpoint of Cinderella’s stepsister. Loved it!

7. Cinderella (The Disney version) (movie)
Come on, it’s a classic. It’s also the reason I love the fairy tale so much. I loved Cinderella’s dress!!

6. Cinder (The Lunar Chrinicles #1) by Marissa Meyer (YA novel)
This one was great because it was so unique. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it at first because I wasn’t sold on the idea of cyborgs, (yes, you heard me right, this is a sci-fi retelling!) but I really loved it. Marissa is amazing and the book is fabulous!

5. Ever After (movie)
With Drew Berrymore. You know the one I mean. Such a great story! And who makes a better wicked stepmother than Angelica Houston?

4. Another Cinderella Story (movie)
Yes, this is a Selena Gomez movie and I’m not ashamed to say that I love it (and her) to death! Like movies and books about rockstars, I am also a sucker for Channing Tatum dancing. Loved the dancing in this movie, loved the main characters, and Jane Lynch is great as always!

3. My Fair Godmother by Janette Rallison (YA novel)
You aren’t going to find another book quite like this one. Fist of all, Janette is freaking hilarious. I love her books. She makes me laugh out loud all the time. And then there’s Chrissy. The fairy godmother from hell. This is a spin on Cinderella that you haven’t read before, so you really, really need to read it!

2. Cindy Ella by Robin Palmer (YA novel)
I love this book! It’s one of my favorites. This is a contemporary retelling. It’s a cute light fun read with loveable characters, a swoonworthy boy, and great writing. Robin has a series of retold fairy tales and they’re fantastic, but Cindy Ella is my favorite. (Again, with the Cinderella addiction.) If you like Cinderella retellings, you’ll love this book!

And my all-time favorite Cinderella retelling is…

1. A Cinderella Story (movie)
Three words: Chad Michael Murray! (Oh yes, I’m a fan.) But then add the cute and loveable Hillary Duff, and the brilliant beyond brilliant Jennifer Coolidge playing the hilarious wicked stepmother and you have one of my favorite movies ever. Also, did I mention this movie stars Chad Michael Murray???

Goodbye 2013! Hello 2014!

Happy new year guys! Hope you had a great 2013 and have an even better 2014!

This year I decided to do a roundup post. Last year I posted separate Top Ten lists. This year, sadly, I didn't have much time due to college. So I'm going to do these Top Ten lists all in one post!

I'll start with Top Ten Moments of 2013:

10. Starting College: I'll be honest, I'm not really liking college. But I am happy that I moved a step forward in life and closer to my dream of becoming a doctor!

9. Graduation: I graduated from school this year and I honestly thought that I would never miss it but I miss it so much! Anyway, this last year in school was a lot of fun. And the farewell was amazing! So yeah, graduation was one of the best moments this year.

8. Blogging: I had so much fun blogging this year! I think I've grown a lot as a blogger. I've still got tons to learn but I feel like I've come far from my beginner days. Plus, I've met so many amazing people through blogging!

7. My Teachers: I miss my school teachers so much! They were the best! And since this was our last year and we had spent 3 years together, they became almost like friends. My English teacher was, and still is, my inspiration and word's cannot describe how much I miss and love her and how lucky I was to have her as a teacher!

6. Making new friends: Even though I don't like college, I made friends pretty quickly. And our little group of 4 has become very close over the course of these 4 months. These people have made my life in college much better and bearable.

5. My friend's engagement: This news came as a big shock to all of us because we are only 17! And none of us were even thinking of getting married. So when one of my friend's announced that she was getting engaged, every one thought it was a joke. But when the reality of it sunk in, we were overjoyed! Her engagement party was one of the best nights of my life!

4. My friends: Aahh! I miss my school friends so much! Especially 2 of my best friends! All the three years with them have been wonderful but this year was more so because this was our last year. So we had lots of parties and get-togethers. We also grew much closer this year. And oh my, I miss them so much!

3. Family trip to Swat: The northern areas of my country are extremely beautiful. My family and I took a trip there and it was so amazing and so much fun! The scenery was breathtaking, the air so fresh, the water so clear. It was awesome, escaping the city for a little while and enjoying the nature.

2. Getting to see Catching Fire in theatre: I know what you must be thinking. 'This is one of her best moments of the year? Pathetic!' But, in my defence, watching a movie in theatres is very expensive in my country plus all the theatres in the city are so far away from where I live. Thus, I rarely get to watch movies in theatres. In fact, I think I haven't seen a movie in a theatre since my childhood. I had been saving money so I could watch Catching Fire. When it came out, I and my brother went to watch it and it was such a nice experience! I cried for the first time in a theatre!

1. Discovering the Kdrama world: This is the best thing that ever happened to me! At the beginning of 2013 I stumbled into the Kdrama (Korean Drama) world and I'm loving it here!

Top Ten Books I read in 2013:

10. Dante’s Girl by Courtney Cole and Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire:

Both of these books are different from each other but both fall at ten for me. Dante’s Girl is a YA novel. It’s short and sweet and there’s no depth or anything. Walking Disaster is Travis’s version of Beautiful Disaster, which are both New Adult novels, and it’s more angsty. While I liked Beautiful Disaster much better, it was nice reading the book in Travis’s voice.

9. Forsaken by Sophia Sharp:

This is one of my recent reads. It’s a Paranormal Romance by an indie author and though it wasn’t perfect, it was very well-written and enjoyable.

8. Teen Idol by Meg Cabot:

One of those books I would love to see as a movie! This is not one of my favorite works by Meg but it was good. The story was cute and overall it was an enjoyable book. I do remember not liking the protagonist’s  voice though…

7. His Black Wings by Astrid Yrigollen:

Another Paranormal Romance by an indie author. This one was so good! I read it all in one sitting. In fact, I stayed up all night reading it!

6. Sheltered by Debra Chapoton:

This book was creepy but so cool! Loved it! It would make such an awesome horror/thriller movie!

5. Pride andPrejudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith:

The title says it all! This book was so much fun to read! More so because I have read Pride and Prejudice. It’s no literary masterpiece but it’s a fun take on the classic and I enjoyed a lot reading this one.

4. Dare You To by Katie McGarry:

By now Katie McGarry has become one of my favorite authors and I will read anything she writes! I did not love Dare You To as much as I loved Pushing The Limits but I did like it a lot and enjoyed reading it.

3. Crash Into You by Katie McGarry:

Now this one I loved just as much as Pushing The Limits! It was oh so good! A must-read if you like Contemporary Romances with broken characters who will change your life forever!! (Sorry, my fangirl heart couldn’t contain it any more.)

2. The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins:

I finally read all 3 books this year and I loved them! There’s nothing much more to say. These were amazing books!

1. Harry Potter and the: Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling:

You can say that 2013 was the year I read most of the Harry Potter books. It’s no secret I love this series so naturally they are number one on my list <3

Top Ten Asian Dramas I watched in 2013:

2013 marked the start of my obsession with the drama world. Here are some of the best dramas I watched this year:

10. Skip Beat:

Skip Beat was the first Asian drama I ever watched. It wasn’t perfect but I loved it and it will always have a special place in my heart. Plus, Ivy Chen was amazing!

9. Flower BoyRamyun Shop:

Oh Lee Ki Woo!!! <3 <3 I’m not much of a fan of noona-romances plus this drama gives you a really bad case of second-lead syndrome but it wasn’t that bad. In fact, it was pretty enjoyable! And Lee Ki Woo!!!!!! And Jung Il Woo!!!!

8. Personal Taste:

The drama that made me fall in love with Lee Min Ho <3 It was cute and the idea was pretty interesting. Plus, LMH looked so good!!

7. Playful Kiss:

Oh how I loved this drama! I get why a lot of people don’t like this one but I loved it still! Because: A) It had Kim Hyun Joong in it who was my first Asian crush ever, even before I was hit by the Hallyu Wave! B) It was better than the anime. C) Jung So Min's acting was really good!

6. PrincessHours/Goong:

I loved this drama so much! The idea of Korea still having a monarchy system was so cool! The costumes were so amazing! It was so much fun watching Korean rituals and customs. Plus, Prince Yool!!! <3 The acting was good too and I had so much fun fangirling over this drama with my friend!

5. Secret Garden:

HYUN BIN IS SO FRICKIN’ GORGEOUS!!!! <3 <3 The drama was pretty good too. I liked the whole switching bodies plot and the acting was pretty good too.

4. White Christmas:

White Christmas is so different from the average Korean drama! I wanted to do a review but I seriously don’t know how to explain this one. It’s a psychological thriller and it’s so creepy! The acting is really good and despite a few plot holes, the story’s really good too! It is also an earlier work of now famous actors like Sung Joon and Kim Woo Bin. A must-watch if you like to watch psychological shows!

3. Shut-up FlowerBoy Band:

Oh the feels! I loved loved loved this drama! The story was amazing, the acting was amazing, the music was amazing! This drama was perfect!

2. Reply 1997:

Oh the mystery! I loved this drama so much! It made me feel nostalgic. The acting was really good and the story was amazing!

1. In Time WithYou:

This one was my favorite drama out of all the dramas I’ve watched! It’s a Taiwanese drama and it’s a best-friend romance story. If you’ve been reading my blog you’ll know that I love best-friend romances! The story and acting was amazing and I loved every bit of it!
